Whether we like it or not, the undefeated Michigan Wolverines have been dominant in their wins; note how easily they folded Notre Dame (that handily beat us) into an origami goose and threw them off of the field. Add to this the fact of how the Wolverines ruined out perfect season last year with that last minute play, and you have quite a match up. The Lions have quite a task in front of them and as JoePa notes a good outcome will make quite a statement for the season. After a tight one against the Minnesota Gophers, the Lions will have to take control and hold on to bring this one about. It seemed fitting to have the Wolverine - giant size - digging in the turf like some maniacal mammal that is hard to displace. And yes to make that statement the Lion will have to go over and take it all away from the undefeated wolverine. Let's hope the Lions find their statement making availability - and what a statement it would be!
