Like a kid waiting on a scrumptious desert, we all anxiously await the answer as to whether our Lions are ready for the rigors of 2006, and the game against Notre Dame. So I've used this concept of ready to look at what you get with the proper amount of time and what you get if you're too quick to action. (I had another great idea from a great friend about the Little Lion confusing the leprechaun with the Travel Gnome from TV - like he does with Brutus Buckeye's name - but it was a little too much to fit in so maybe for next year .... my friend will get a jab at his Notre Dame loving sister.) So our little lion looks at some things that are really great - when they are ready - and what you get if you proceed too soon. Have we scheduled this game too soon and will the Lions be ready? Well, Nittany Lion, you better jump up and shake Fate and Destiny's hands as they come to greet you. I'm not a big ND fan - so I REALLY hope we're ready!
