Well we're at the last game of the season, and one of the hot topics was a rumor started on Pittsburgh radio stated that JoePa was going to step down and name a successor. It continued to be inflated to get big press, noted how JoePa had met with the Board of Trustees, etc., but in the end it had no basis in fact, just a silly rumor. So I turned the whole event into one of those "tabloid" rumors we see at the checkout line in the grocery store. The little lion sees this rumor about JoePa stepping down and naming a successor (all of those really good tabloid rumors have a two-headed alien in them... and Michael Jackson's nose!). The Lion tries to convince the little guy that it maybe just a rumor, but it takes JoePa to set things straight. I think it would be the definite low note for JoePa to leave at the end of a season like this one, and he deserves more from all of us - so let's let him do his job and get us back to the winning Penn State we all have become used to.

Our now massive pet season has a new winning spot after we beat Indiana. It will be difficult for us to get another win, Michigan State put a real hurting on undefeated Wisconsin, but they are up and down as well. The Lion notices this fact, but the Spartan really doubts any knowledge Penn State has about "winning". Let's hope he gets proven wrong!
